Where to find the freshest local produce: find out which days of the week the market comes to the towns and villages of the Costa Brava and the rest of the Girona province.

Many towns or villages in Spain have their own, special market selling local food produce (meats, cheeses, breads, fruit and vegetables); others may sell crafts, clothing and household basics. Here is just a selection of some markets in Girona province and along the Costa Brava coast to start you off.

Note: Many markets in Girona city are open for the Sant Narcis Festival as well as on Christmas and Easter.
